Euro Trip manages to be hysterically funny at some points, and remarkably gross at others. Its one of those movies that require absolutely no thought process to be enjoyable so if you go and see it looking for some deep humor, you will walk away depressed. If you have seen Road Trip, just picture that movie in Europe and you’ve got Euro Trip. I won’t say that Euro Trip was a bad movie because at many times I found myself laughing hysterically for several minutes straight. I also wont say that this was a great movie, because there were some scenes in it that made me quite repulsed and asking myself why in the world the director even put in that scene.
When you see this movie and are wondering at what part I’m talking about, I just have two words for you, nude beach. Trust me guys, when I say nude beach, this is not a time for you to get excited, its not a good nude beach.
If you are a politically correct person, then you will definitely hate this movie. If you were from Italy, France, or the UK, I wouldn’t see this movie unless I have a very good sense of humor or you might get offended.
If nudity offends you, both male and female, then this might not be the movie for you. Another good way to tell if you will appreciate this movies humor is by its commercials. If you found the commercial to be funny, then you will most likely love the movie.
The best way to describe this movie is to call it a mixed bag. I doubt many people will find this movie completely horrible, or entirely great. If you liked American Pie, Super Troopers, and Scary Movie, most likely you will find this movie quite funny. If you did not find those movies funny then do yourself a favor and do not watch this movie, you will just feel dirty by the time the movie ends.
If you are looking for a movie to go see with your girlfriend/boyfriend, look elsewhere. If you want to go see a movie with a group of friends and there is nothing better to see, then this will probably be the movie for you.
