“We need more people watching out, and getting people more aware,” says commuter student Lorena Sousa.
“It’s a good idea and I’m glad it’s brought up. But guys are still going to do it,” says Education major Johyko Rodriguez.
“Everyone knows [date rape] is wrong, but people still do it. We still need to raise awareness, though,” says Business Marketing major Sharifa Chen.
“We should definitely have a program because I’ve recently heard about a couple rape incidents. Any program to help people feel safe is important and a good thing,” says Communication major Brandy Mayhew.
“This program is very necessary. Awareness is the first step in trying to prevent violence against women,” says Elementary Education major Christie Warek.
