Incoming students,

Welcome to Florida Atlantic University and your first issue of the University Press, FAU’s student-run newspaper. We’re working very hard to provide you with what you want – the latest news from each of our seven campuses, information about upcoming entertainment events, opinions from students like you on what’s going on at FAU, and coverage of every school sport.

But we can’t do all of this as well as we’d like without one very important thing – your input. Email us at [email protected] and tell us what you want to see in the UP and what you’ve seen enough of. Or, make the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow students and join the UP staff. We provide paying positions in nearly every segment of newspaper production, from writing stories and taking photos to managing our staff of over 20 students. It’s fun, it’s lucrative, and it will help you get a job when you get out of here in four (or five, or six) years.
