The list of candidates for SG’s spring 2007 elections was released Friday. On March 27 and 28 students on all of FAU’s campuses will vote for the new student body president and elect their campuses governors and representatives. Here is the list of candidates for the presidential and gubernatorial elections:

President and Vice President –

Tony Teixiera: He is running for his second time. Teixiera was defeated by Kirk Murray last year after two run-offs and a contested election.

Running Mate: Abraham Cohen, former director of lobbying

Jared Torres: He’s the current Boca UWC representative.

Running Mate: Rakibur (Rocky) Joarder, the current Boca governor

Jeffery Joyner: He’s the current UWC representative for the northern campuses.

Running Mate: Christopher Ficcara

Governor –
