The Office of Multicultural Affairs will host the Multilingual Festival that begins today. The festival is a great opportunity for students to meet with members from various language-related campus clubs, such as the Spanish Honor Society, the Creyole club and the FAU Linguistics Society. Some of these clubs offer benefits to its members, such as scholarships, to help promote each student’s academic experience. Other clubs sponsoring the festival include Sigma Delta Pi, the Hellenic Student Association and the Latin Swing Club.
In addition to the many clubs in attendance, the festival will also feature a DJ playing a variety of different cultural music, as well as a display of performance arts. As if that weren’t enough, the festival will also have free food for all who attend.
The Multilingual Festival will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the Majestic Palm room, located in the University Center building.
