Psssssttt! Hey you…yeah, you. Want to know where you can score some free swag?
Greetings my fellow denizens of academia and welcome to the show that never ends…
During your time here at FAU many questions may float into that thought box of yours. In fact, up until now it’s been said that everything you ever needed to know you learned in kindergarten. Wow, was that guy wrong. It’s a good thing the UP has got you covered, regarding all things that rock, roll, hop and/or hip. This section is going to show you who, what, when, where and even why you should never need search beyond the walls of FAU for entertainment. After all, there’s no place like campus.
As new students here at FAU you’ll receive your Owl card, complete with embarrassing bed-head ID photo. Treat your Owl card with great care, as it is your passport to free entertainment. Yes, that’s right…FREE.
No cash? No problem. No transportation? No problem. From campus events, cookouts and live concerts – all with free food – your Owl card is the key to fabulous free fun at FAU.
And forget Blockbuster, FYE, iTunes and LimeWire, the FAU library has tons of free DVDs, CDs and even MP3s available for rental. That’s right, the library is much more than just a funky smelling place with a ton (a million to be exact) of books. Aside from a great place to study, the library is also a great place to score free stuff – just be sure to bring your Owl card.
