The main focus of this week’s episode of “Housewives” was Edie’s obviously crazy husband, who seems to be manipulating all the folks on Wisteria Lane by being super nice, like buying Tom a $1,600 guitar and insisting that it should look like a gift from his wife.
Everyone seems to be fooled except for Mrs. McCluskey, who is convinced that this guy’s served time in prison.
Love it: Although the plot is purely fiction, and it sometimes causes a “yeah right” reaction, the characters always seem to have to deal with real-life issues, like having money problems and dealing with bullies at the playground.
The creepy factor: Even though the show is a few episodes into its fifth season, it’s still narrated by the chick who died in the first season.
Enough already: Susan’s rollercoaster love life is played out enough to make anyone want to hit the fast forward button anytime it comes up.
Desperate Housewives airs on ABC Sundays at 9 p.m.
