On Jan. 12, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit near the capital of Haiti. Konbit Kreyol — a Haitian student organization and FAU’s largest student club — is working with FAU and other organizations to coordinate relief efforts. Here’s how you can get involved:
DONATIONS:
Konbit Kreyol is accepting donations for two recipients, Food for the Poor and the General Consulate of Haiti in Miami. They are not accepting monetary donations, but clothing, non-perishable food, and first aid items can be dropped off at the following locations on the Boca campus:
A Konbit Kreyol table that will be in the Breezeway every weekday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers are needed to help transport donations to a central holding location on the Boca campus and sort donations before they are sent to Haiti. Anyone interested in volunteering (community service hours are available) can contact:
