Former FAU officer Jimmy Ho left Sheri Deann Carter to die in her Boynton Beach condo on Jan. 31 after he shot her twice leaving her paralyzed below the waist.

She later died in Delray Medical Center.

At 4:21p.m., Carter texted her boyfriend Mark, saying her client was acting weird. First reported by Broward New Times, below are the last text messages between Carter and her boyfriend.

 Carter: “Omg have a total weirdo in my bathroom a little scared…like think he’s on…”

Mark: “Don’t let him sniff my deodorant…lol..”

Carter: “No really u have no clue…”

Mark: “K let me kno when he leaves”

Mark: “???”

Mark: “Not like u to turnyour phone off for class@plz call or txt asap”

According the police report, a concerned friend called police because she last heard from her at 4:15p.m.

Police arrived at Carter’s home at 7:15p.m. She was unconscious, but alive, and covered in blood.

Ho is currently sitting in Palm Beach County jail waiting for his next visit to court for first degree murder on April 8.
