According to the Homecoming website, James Otto is scheduled to play at FAU as one of the events.
However, the Grammy-nominated country singer’s publicist wrote in an email to the UP that she had double-checked his schedule and “it doesn’t look like he’s confirmed to play at [FAU].”
As of press time, the UP has not been able to reach April Turner, Director of Homecoming, for a comment. But according to fliers all over campus, and the Homecoming Facebook page, Otto will be playing the Outdoor Stage on the Boca campus on Nov. 3 at 9 p.m.
So, will you get a chance to see his hits, like “Just Got Started Loving You” and “Shake What God Gave Ya”?
The UP will keep you posted.
