This month, the first thing you’ll see in any drugstore is a bunch of spooky Halloween decorations – whether they creep you out or just make you laugh, you know it’s that time of year. It’s also a great time to stock up on dorm-room candy with all the bulk sales.
It’s also that time of year where you can pull out that old witch costume rotting in your closet or start a new DIY project and transform yourself into a zombie. Or maybe you’re one of those “Mean Girls” types with the bunny ears.
Whoever you are and whatever you’re afraid of, October is all about having fun. That’s why the UP has compiled a list of local events for you to attend. If you’re an outgoing partier, there’s a dance party and a club you might want to go to. If you love a good scream, great: there’s a haunted house and a haunted nature trail right in Boca Raton. If you want to get fancy and rock your “The Great Gatsby” duds, there’s an auction and cocktail party going on too.
This list of events are arranged by date, but also lists the prices to help you sort out where you want to go, keeping in mind your college student budget.
