Kelly answers some questions, ignores others while live tweeting
August 28, 2015
President John Kelly took time out of his day to answer questions under the hashtag #KellyConvo. Questions and answers ranged from informative to outright ludicrous.
The Twitter session lasted from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, with Kelly answering about 20 questions, starting with a question about the indoor athletics facility.
@Marine1279 It’s going well, do you have rich parents? #FAU #GoOwls #kellyconvo

After coming out firing, the President dialed it back. Awkward puns and tongue-in-cheek comments followed.
@ladymyou We also owl-ways looking to expand options to students when the need is there #FAU #GoOwls #KellyConvo — Dr. John Kelly (@FAUpresident) August 27, 2015
A few important questions were answered regarding how campuses are communicating with each other, but the answers were broad and didn’t provide any solutions.
@FAUpresident yes the need is there. Some of us are forced to go to Boca for our classes #Kellyconvo

Kelly let everyone know his favorite genre of movie was anything James Bond, and he would be showing up on Halloween dressed as a big owl. He ended his question and answer with a live Periscope feed.
As active as he was on Twitter Thursday evening, Kelly failed to answer several questions. He dodged inquiries on all of the following:
On whether he would do an exclusive outline with any of the three student media outlets
His thoughts on preserving wildlife on campus
On providing more scholarships to international students that are not STEM majors
On a lack of SI tutoring on the University’s Broward campus
Tell us what your thoughts are about the #KellyConvo.
