Reflections and Notes:
Volleyball:
- Volleyball earned its first two conference wins of the season, sweeping both UTEP and Marshall. The Owls now have sweeps in nine out of their 11 victories.
Cross Country
- The women’s team traveled to the Florida State University Invitational Friday, finishing fifth out of nine teams.
- Sophomore Liz Wellman was FAU’s best finisher, with a time of 19:01:20, putting her in 30th place overall on the day.
Women’s Soccer
- With their win, women’s soccer snapped a six-game losing streak.
- Senior midfielder Claire Emslie set a program record Friday with her 218th shot attempt. The mark is the most in team history.
- Geovana Alves scored her team-leading sixth goal on Sunday. It was her first since Sept. 18 versus Texas Tech.
Swimming and Diving
- Swimming and Diving hold their annual Family and Alumni meet on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m.
