FAU and Boca communities lace up for the annual Homecoming Run for Autism.
Members of the Florida Atlantic and Boca Raton community came together on Sunday, Oct. 25, for the university’s annual Homecoming Run for Autism.
The 5K hosted approximately 1,000 participants at the campus’s track and field in Boca Raton. A non-competitive “fun run” was also included for families and children. Their donations benefited the FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
“I love the type of events when the community can come and show support not only for FAU, but also an amazing cause,” said Homecoming Director Trevor Lewis. “Seeing the involvement is amazing.”
